Select Accountancy has been appointed by The Audit Commission as a partnership supplier to Reed Managed Services to recruit temporary auditors.

The Audit Commission is an independent public body which works closely with key government departments including the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister in England and the Department of Health . Employing around 2500 people, the Commission is responsible for ensuring that public money is spent economically, efficiently and effectively in the areas of local government, health, housing and the criminal justice services, across the whole of England.

The mission of the Audit Commission is to be a driving force in the improvement of public services. They aim to promote proper stewardship and governance and help those responsible for public services to achieve better outcomes for citizens, with a focus on those people who need public services most.
